The LA Chargers have signed former Packers center, Corey Linsley on a five-year, $62M contract. He is now the highest-paid center in the league and he will get $26M over the first two years. Linsley was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL draft and he has proved to be an absolute steal. This past season Linsley allowed only 1 sack and also had zero penalties called on him in 734 offensive snaps.
It’s a great signing for the Los Angeles Chargers and it’s another elite offensive lineman to block for their standout rookie quarterback, Justin Herbert. Linsley is also reunited with his former Packers o-line teammate, Bryan Bulaga, who signed for the Chargers during last seasons free agency period.
